Founded by Grant Gillies and Michael Oord, RiverTown Properties is built on a shared vision of providing well-designed, functional homes for Sea to Sky residents. Grant, originally from North Vancouver, has been building homes on the South Coast for over two decades. Michael, who grew up in Squamish, has deep roots in the area, with his family calling it home for nearly 50 years. Together, Grant and Michael bring a deep understanding of the region, and a commitment to building communities that enhance each community's vibrant lifestyle.

The sea to Sky community is a special place, offering an incredible lifestyles for young professionals and families. At RiverTown Properties, we are focused on thoughtful residential development that complements the town’s unique character while meeting the needs of local residents.
As part of our commitment to fostering vibrant, sustainable communities, Windytown Properties Ltd. (Rivertown) has donated parkland and agricultural land to the District of Squamish (DOS) and Squamish CAN. The community farm, operated by Squamish CAN, provides fresh produce for the region, with opportunities for residents to participate if volunteer help is needed. While Rivertown does not operate the farm, this initiative reflects our vision of integrating natural and agricultural spaces into our neighbourhoods. If SquamishCAN ceases operations, the land will return to the DOS for future community use.
